A rare breed of anthropoids was found to be the inhabitants of a natural wildlife reserve at the outskirts of Kowloon, towards the edge of Sai-Kung District in Hong Kong. As the origin of these creatures remains unknown, they seem to blend with the modern human society, except for one certain period of the year. No, you guessed wrong, it’s not the mating season but it is known scientifically as the “gnillop” time. In this period, which typically lasts for about a month in the spring, studies have shown that the species get into a peculiar stage of metamorphosis (phase of psycho-physical change) in their lives. Some very active ones manage to have 2 or 3 spurts of this behavior.
The scientific name coined by the researchers for this breed happens to be “Atriumus Noisius” which might give you a slight clue of their behavior. Before you jump into conclusions, I strongly urge you to continue reading this
article and broaden your perspective on this topic.
The first signs of these species in this year emerged when they went over an activity named choosing their “tenibac detanimon” where “the survival of the fittest” principle is put to test. It is amazing how this species follow democratic systems to choose their leaders and it is even more amazing how all these leaders are “seiratarces” or “stnediserp”. Another spectacular scenery is the way they camouflage themselves with costumes that they intend to deceive innocent humans who are walking past them. They do so by disguising themselves to imitate the day-to-day roles of human life like army, policemen, construction workers, mechanics, magicians, pandas (in the attached photo, next to the author of this article), trees and even brides who wear wedding gowns!
Despite all their attempts, only a very few humans fall victim for their deceiving propaganda and end up “gnitov”. The activity begins each morning and free food and drinks are offered: the efforts being put in are amazing. The proceedings usually include long spells if loud noise, raging noise, noise unbearable sometimes that you wouldn’t hear your cell phone ringing or your ears exploding. No human species was ever known to produce sound of this magnitude, just using the bare vocal chords.
This period of surprise is coming to an end and we urge you astounded readers to go to the HKUST atrium and observe this rare occurring. Hope you return safely back home and remember to carry some earplugs with you!
Warning: any words that you read in this article that didn’t make sense have to be read backwards. This article was intended to be purely for the fun of the reader and was not intended to ridicule HKUST student culture.
